Art 230 Glyphs Compositions

This is the first project that I have completed in my Art 230 class. In this class, we are exploring the history, design, and variations of typography.
For this project, we were tasked with creating two compositions using 5-8 glyphs from two different font families. The idea was that we could create a work of art using something as common as typography. The two fonts we had to use were Neue Haas Grotesk Bold and Stemple Garamond.
I found it difficult to design with Stemple Garamond, due to it's unpredictable nature. It lacks the uniformity of Neue Haas Grotesk Bold. But now as I look at my finished project, I realize that the Garamond piece is my favorite for that very reason.
